Local Literacy and Education Resources

Church leaders have consistently reminded us of the importance of gaining an education, learning all we can, and developing our abilities to create and appreciate literature and other forms of art. A recent talk by Elder Douglas L. Callister of the Seventy expresses the idea that language and literature are an important part of not only our earthly life but perhaps also our eternal progression.

Our community has many resources available to help us appreciate literacy or improve our skills in reading, writing, speaking English, or using computers. Check out the following links or contact our Relief Society counselor in charge of Literacy at marionwolfe@gmail.com.
