A message from the stake presidency about building safety

We in the Stake have recently been made aware of several situations where our buildings have been left unlocked or left in unsafe conditions. The Stake would like to encourage all of our members to be more aware of the care and security of our buildings.

When you are responsible for an activity, or are the last one in the building, we would ask you to take extra care that the building is secure and safe.  This includes(but may not be limited to):
  • All doors closed, latched and locked
  • All windows closed and locked
  • Stove and oven turned off
  • All lights turned off
  • No water running in sinks or bathrooms
  • Font drained after baptismal service
  • Trash emptied and put in the dumpster
We recognize that the buildings are well cared for after most of our activities and commend everyone that helps to care for the Lord's meetinghouses.  Thanks for all you do to further the Work here on the earth!
