Church Christmas Events

Christmas is coming! The following holiday activities are coming up soon. Keep checking this post since I'll be updating it throughout the month.

Sunday, 12/5 at 8 p.m. (6 p.m. MST). First Presidency Christmas Devotional, including music from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square. Watch on BYU TV, online, or at the chapel. Click here for details.
Monday, 12/6 at 7:00 p.m. Stake President David Cook and his family are hosting a Family Home Evening/dessert potluck for Single Adults. Click here for details.
Thursday, 12/9 at 7:00 p.m. Book Club on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Meet at Anna Bardsley's home. All are invited! Discussion, potluck and book exchange!
Sunday, 12/12 Ward Christmas program 
Sunday, 12/12 at  7 p.m. Stake Christmas Music Devotional at the Stake Center, including choirs, small groups, families, and individuals. Light refreshments served. Click here for details.
Tuesday, 12/14 at 6:30 p.m. Combined Primary/Young Men's/Young Women's Activity: filling and assembling "Soup in a Jar"  as a service project for Christmas baskets. Children from 3-18 (and parents of young children) are invited.
Thursday, 12/16 at 7:00 p.m. Relief Society Meeting: Come for a relaxing evening during this busy time of year. We will be focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, while doing a small service project and drinking hot chocolate.Email Melody Dean at sardeans614@gmail.com if you are able to bring a Christmas treat.
Sunday, 12/19 at  7:00 p.m. "Messiah" Sing-along at the Gateway Building (our church building)
Friday, 12/31 at 7:00 p.m. Multi-Stake Youth Dance at Reynoldsburg. Click here for details.


Also, some Christmas advice from our Relief Society president:
Sister Franklin, a United States Postal Service employee, recommends buying your holiday postage stamps at www.usps.com. You can pick out the design you want, they are delivered quickly to you in the mail and the postage and handling fee is a flat rate of only $1.00 regardless of the size of your order. It beats standing in line at the Post Office!
